Accessibility Statement for cardimed-nexus.imperial.ac.uk
This accessibility statement applies to https://cardimed-nexus.imperial.ac.uk.
This website is run by Imperial College London. We aim to make our website accessible to as many people as possible. For example, you should be able to:
- Change colours, contrast levels, and fonts
- Zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand. AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- On the Tabs page under the Data Analysis tab, the alert button may overlap with text when the page is highly zoomed in.
- On the Tabs page under the Data Analysis tab, rapidly selecting multiple checkboxes can cause screen readers to announce alerts in a confusing way.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility
Imperial College London is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- On the Tabs page under the Data Analysis tab, the alert button may overlap nearby text at high zoom levels (e.g. 300–400%). This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.10 (Reflow).
- On the Tabs page under the Data Analysis tab, rapidly selecting multiple checkboxes can cause screen readers to announce alerts in a confusing way. For example, selecting checkbox A and then B in a rapid succesion (approximately under 5 seconds) may result in the alert for A being read twice (once on its own and once combined with B). This may fail WCAG 2.2 Success Criteria 3.2.2 (On Input) and 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value).
We aim to resolve these issues by November 2026.
